Trade, Logistics and Customs Specialist

Lucía is an expert in international business and customs. She has more than twelve years of experience in consulting and advising domestic and international businesses in terms of international business, market access, business developments and technical topics for customs processes and has more than seven years of teaching experience at the University of Costa Rica, the Universidad Estatal a Distancia and in various technical colleges.

She is a member of the Economic and Sciences Association and has worked with the National Program for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (PRONAMYPE) and in the development of various projects for affiliated businesses and internal projects with impact in the country for the Chamber of Importers and Foreign Representation in Costa Rica (CRECEX). She is actively involved in the AMCHAM Trade Commission, the UCCAEP Trade Subcommittee and AZOFRAS. 

Academic Background

Degree in Customs Administration and International Business from the University of Costa Rica (2008).

Master’s Degree in Leadership from the National University (2015).
